Israel says rockets were fired from Syria and did not hit its targets

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — Iranian-backed Shi’ite factions fired rockets at Israel from Syria on Monday but landed before they reached Israeli territory, the Israeli army said.

“Shia factions operating under the command of the Iranian Quds Force fired a number of rockets from Syrian territory near Damascus,” the army said.
