Israel seeks to eliminate prominent members of Hamas

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY) – Israeli media have published a list of members of Hamas’ military wing, whose assassination is one of Tel-Aviv’s top priorities.

The persons whose names appear on the said list belong to the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas.

Here are the names of the fighters:

Mohammed Deïf : Brigadier-in-Chief Izz al-Din al-Qassam, who survived several attacks on his life. During the war unleashed by the Israeli army against the Gaza Strip in 2014, Mohammed Deïf’s wife and son were killed in an Israeli airstrike, but escaped death.

Marwan Issa, deputy commander-in-chief of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, who took the lead in tunneling Hamas and gave birth to the al-Qassam commando unit. According to the Israeli media, it is he who has established links between the military wing of Hamas and Iran.

Ahmed al-Kundur: the head of the North Battalion in the Gaza Strip, who survived several attacks against his life.

Ayman Nofel: A prominent al-Qassam member who heads the central battalion of Hamas’s military wing.

Ra’d Saad: the commander of the Gaza unit, which is, according to the Israeli internal security service, responsible for the optimization of Hamas missiles with Turkish elements.

Mohammed Sinwar: the commander of the Khan Younes Battalion, which has been part of the al-Qassam Brigades since the 1990s. Israelis consider it to be one of the most dangerous elements to be followed. He survived six attacks. Mohammed Sinwar is the brother of Yahya Sinwar, the head of the Hamas political bureau in the Gaza Strip.

Ayman Mansour, Ahmed Hamouda and Iyad al-Shanbari: Hamas leaders in Jabaliya, Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun.

Ayman Siam: the head of the al-Qassam Brigades’ ballistic arsenal, which has already been the target of a failed attack.

Tawfiq Abu Naim: a former prisoner who currently heads the Gaza security forces.

Fathi Hamad: the former Minister of Home Affairs in Gaza who, according to Israel, is responsible for a group linked to Hamas whose mission is to carry out covert operations against the Israelis.

Mohammed Dababash: a member of Hamas intelligence.

Abdel Hadi Siam and Nafed Sabih : They are among the top commanders of al-Qassam.
