Israeli army prepared for a possible attack from Syria

ISRAEL (OBSERVATORY) – Israeli forces recorded “unusual activity” of Iranian forces in Syria and are preparing for a possible attack on their part, deploying anti-aircraft defense in the Golan Heights and ordering to open air-raid shelters there, the army’s press service said.

“Identifying the unusual activity of the Iranian forces in Syria, the IDF … ordered local authorities to open and prepare for use the bomb shelters on the Golan Heights,” the press release said.

“In addition, defensive systems are deployed, the IDF forces are in high alert for the attack,” the military said.
