UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Israeli army personnel fired on Palestinians who were trying to lay an explosive device at the separation fence on the border with Gaza, the army press service said.
“Some time ago, IDF soldiers noticed two Palestinians who approached a security fence in the southern part of the Gaza Strip and began to install an explosive device next to it. Fire was fired at them,” the military said.
The target was hit, the army press service reported.
In turn, the Palestinian Agency IAAN reported that one Palestinian died, three were injured after Israeli soldiers opened fire in the east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to the agency, several farmers tried to get to the body of a Palestinian killed earlier as a result of an Israeli airstrike, but Israeli troops opened fire on them.
According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, three people were injured and taken to a hospital for medical care.
