Israeli security forces shoot Palestinian boy inside Al-Aqsa

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — Israeli security forces on Thursday shot at a Palestinian boy inside al-Aqsa and completely closed the doors of the mosque and the Old City of Jerusalem.

According to eyewitnesses, Israeli forces opened fire at one of the boys inside the yards of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The occupants were not able to reach the boy to check on his health or help him. Israeli soldiers surrounded him and arrested him immediately.

Israeli media reported that an Israeli policeman was slightly injured following a stabbing operation in the Old City of Jerusalem, where Israeli forces closed all entrances to the city and deployed police, special forces and cavalry teams in the streets adjacent to the Old City.

The worshipers performed Asr prayers at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque after they were prevented from entering it.
