Israeli settlers attack al-Aqsa mosque

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — Sources of information have reported Israel’s intensification of abuses in occupied Palestine. Israeli settlers stormed the al-Aqsa mosque again. In response to Israel’s crimes against the Palestinians, the Lebanese Hezbollah leader pointed to the Arabs bordering the Persian Gulf, accusing them of fleeing their responsibility to the Palestinian nation.

Some media report the Tel Aviv regime’s attempt to expropriate Palestinian land in northern Nablus.

According to Paltoday, Israel is pursuing a project to seize Palestinian land in the village of al-Baqarah in northern Nablus. The purpose of the seizure of the village of al-Naqoura is to expand Shafi Shamroun’s settlement near this village. This is not the first time Israel has confiscated Palestinian land in various regions.

According to Al-Adeh News, the Israelis are continuing their daily raids on the al-Aqsa mosque.

Dozens of Israeli settlers, backed by Israeli security forces, stormed the al-Aqsa mosque. The Palestinian media also reported that the attack on the mosque was organized following the green light of the Israeli authorities.

According to another report by Paltoday, Israeli police on Sunday arrested Palestinian Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Fadi al-Hadami. His home was searched and some items seized. Al-Hadami was arrested for the first time last July.

In a speech delivered Tuesday in Beirut, in the southern suburbs of Lebanon, Hezbollah’s secretary-general accused the Arab regimes of the Persian Gulf of being at the root of the problems of the Muslim world and the region. Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said: “If the Tel Aviv regime came into existence, continues to survive and continues its crimes against the Palestinians, it is because Arabs and Muslims have evaded their responsibilities vis-à-vis the Palestinian people.”

Speaking at the 74 th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, the King of Jordan considered the occupation of Palestinian lands by Israel as a moral tragedy worldwide.

“The continuation of the occupation is a moral and global disaster. This occupation, extermination and intimidation can not annihilate the history and rights of a nation,” said Abdallah II.

“Nothing can deprive the Palestinian people of their right to equality, justice and self-determination,” he said.
