Italian Democratic Party leader diagnosed with coronavirus

US, WASHINGTON (NEWS OBSERVATORY) — The leader of the Democratic Party of Italy Nicola Zingaretti discovered coronavirus.

The politician wrote about this on his Facebook page. Zingaretti reassured subscribers by writing that he was feeling well. In the near future he will spend quarantined at home.

Now the politician’s contacts are being clarified and a list of persons with whom he has been contacting recently is being established.

Earlier, the first case of infection was detected on the island of Malta.

Until recently, the country was one of the three European states where coronavirus has not yet been detected. Now it has only two countries: Cyprus and Bulgaria.
