UNITED KINGDOM (OBSERVATORY) – British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson explained why London decided to join the US and its allies and strike at Syria.
He wrote about this in a column for The Telegraph .
“There is one simple reason why Britain’s decision to join the allies and strike at Assad’s military car was true. It’s about our common future. It’s about the world in which we want our children to grow up. It’s about whether and only if the world should tolerate the repeated use of chemical weapons and the suffering of the people to whom it leads, “Johnson said.
Earlier, the head of the Federal Department of Defense, Public Affairs and Sports of Switzerland Guy Parmelin said that the United States, Britain and France should have waited for the results of the experts’ verification of reports on the use of chemical weapons in the Syrian Duma.
