UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — The legend of the Golden Age of Hollywood, Kirk Douglas, who died in early February at the age of 103, did not leave a penny to his son, the famous actor Michael Douglas.
Kirk Douglas has always been famous for generous donations, and he did not change this tradition even after death. All his fortune – 61 million pounds, he bequeathed to charity, writes the British publication The Mirror.
The help, in particular, will be received by the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, St. Lawrence University, the Sinai Temple of Westwood, the Kirk Douglas Theater in Culver City.

Kirk Douglas was born on December 9, 1916 in American Amsterdam into a family of immigrants from Russia. At birth, received the name Iser Danilovich. His parents moved to America from the Mogilev region (now – the territory of Belarus). From childhood, showed interest in theatrical art.
