Lebanese army details Israeli missile attack

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — he Lebanese army says that on Sunday, Israel fired over 40 missiles at a number of settlements in southern Lebanon, the press service of the army command reports.

“The Israeli army opened fire on the outskirts of the settlements of Maru Ar-Ras, Tarun and Varun. More than 40 (…) missiles were fired, which led to fires in the vicinity of the settlements. The bombing continues for the time being,” the communiqué says.

Earlier it was reported that Israeli troops strike in southern Lebanon in response to several anti-tank missiles fired from there at a border army base and military equipment.
