The UN-recognized National Reconciliation Government (GNA) Ministry of Transport said in a statement that Haftar militias had fired rockets at Mitiga airport.

As a result, flights were reportedly suspended at the airport.

Haftar’s illegitimate forces have previously targeted Mitiga Airport, which is the capital’s only gateway to the world, and has been closed for months.
