Libyan army destroys armed vehicles and jamming equipment south of Tripoli

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — The Libyan National Army, led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, announced on Thursday the destruction of armed vehicles carrying terrorist leaders and jamming equipment south of the Libyan capital Tripoli during an air strike by fighter jets.

“In an air strike on Thursday, our warplanes destroyed two armed vehicles and two station wagons carrying terrorist leaders and jamming equipment for the terrorist gangs south of the capital,” Libyan army spokesman Major General Ahmed al-Mesmari said in a press release.”

The media center of the Dignity Operations Room of the Libyan National Army, led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, announced on Wednesday, the destruction of three drones during air strikes on sites in the capital Tripoli.

It is noteworthy that the spokesman of the General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, Major General Ahmed al-Mesmari, had announced that the Libyan National Army to try to launch an air and ground attack on the base of Al-Jafra by terrorist militias and mercenaries.
