Macron informed Zielinski that France has taken action to open an international investigation into the Ukrainian plane crash

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — French President Emmanuel Macron told his Ukrainian counterpart in a telephone conversation that France has taken formal action to open an international investigation into the crash of a Ukrainian passenger plane in Iran, the office of Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelinsky said.

Zelinsky’s office added in a statement that the president agreed with Macron on Saturday that French experts would help decipher the black boxes of the stricken plane.

He added that Macron had agreed to visit Kiev.
