CHILE (OBSERVATORY) – A strong magnitude of 6.4 earthquake hits Chile, USGS reports on Tuesday.
According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), an earthquake of magnitude 6.1 occurred on the coast of central Chile.
The shocks were fixed on Tuesday at 10.19 UTC time.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located 35 kilometers south of the Chilean city of Ovalle. The focus was at a depth of 2 kilometers.
