Malaysia has closed its ports for cruise ships

US, WASHINGTON (NEWS OBSERVATORY) — Due to the threat of the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, the Malaysian authorities have banned all cruise ships from entering the country’s ports.

As emphasized in the largest port of Klang, the introduction of such measures is necessary, despite possible losses.

On the eve of the Ministry of Health of Malaysia reported 10 new cases of infection with coronavirus, the total number of infected in the country reached 93.
