GERMANY (OBSERVATORY) – German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that the evidence of the use of chemical weapons in Syria is “clear and precise.”
She said this during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
“I believe that the evidence that chemical weapons were used there is very clear and very clear. From my point of view, this can be checked again, but this can not help us in assessing this case, ” quotes Merkel.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow would seek that experts from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) visit the Syrian Duma, where chemical weapons were allegedly used.
