Merkel: We will continue to work out solutions to avoid escalation with Iran

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — Europe has decided to stick to the nuclear deal with Iran and will try to find solutions to avoid escalation, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Wednesday.

“Step by step, we will continue to try to find solutions with Iran to avoid escalating tensions in a sensitive part of the world,” Merkel said in a speech to parliament. This is our job.”
