MiG-29K crashed on Goa

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — The fourth-generation multi-role fighter MiG-29 crashed in the Indian state of Goa, located in the western part of the country. This was announced by a spokesman for the Indian Navy at the Ministry of Defense.

“ This morning around 10:30 the MiG-29K plane crashed at Goa during a regular training flight, ” a representative of the defense department on the social network Twitter said in a statement .

It is known that the pilot, who was in the fighter at the time of the crash, successfully ejected and landed safely on the ground.

Meanwhile, the Indian Ministry of Defense has commissioned an investigation to find out all the details and circumstances of the incident.
