Mission of the OPCW arrived in Damascus to investigate the chemical attack

SYRIA (OBSERVATORY) –┬áThe mission of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) arrived in the Syrian capital in order to investigate the alleged chemical attack in the city of the Duma.

“The fact-finding mission of the use of chemical weapons in Syria arrived in Damascus to begin its work,” the organization said on Twitter.

Information on the chemical attack on April 7 in the Syrian city of the Duma was distributed by the non-governmental organization White Helmets.

As evidence, they brought only photos and videos published in social networks.

The Russian Center for Conciliation of the parties indicated that the White Helmets had fabricated the evidence. So they try to break the truce.

The Ministry of Defense noted that a group of Russian specialists examined the alleged places of the chemical industry and did not find any traces of the use of toxic agents.
