IRAN (OBSERVATORY) – EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini on Monday suspended Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s claim that Iran was pursuing its nuclear program.
“I did not see that the Israeli prime minister today has indications that Tehran is not committed to the Iranian nuclear agreement,” the European diplomat said.
“All the parties have reached this deal (Iran’s nuclear agreement) after confidence and safeguards have been created,” Mugherini said.
US President Donald Trump and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macaron discussed Iran’s nuclear deal earlier in the day.
On April 24, Iran’s nuclear deal was at the top of Macron’s agenda and US officials during his visit to Washington.
