NATO Secretary General believes that Russia’s behavior should change

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY) – Sanctions against Russia will remain in force until the Russian side changes its course. This was in an interview with Süddeutsche Zeitung, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said.

“Until Russia’s behavior changes, the troops will be where they are at the moment, and the sanctions will remain in force, ” he said.

According to him, NATO does not seek a cold war.

“If we do not talk to each other, we will not be able to settle differences or improve mutual understanding,” he added.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that NATO is building up its military capabilities alongside Russia’s borders.

On April 5 Stoltenberg noted that NATO will seek to improve relations with Russia.
