RUSSIA / SYRIA (OBSERVATORY) – Russian military equipment was sent to the Middle East. Should we expect revenge from the Russians?
The British Daily Mail published photos showing the transport of tanks, armored vehicles, patrol boats and ambulances on board a Russian ship bound for the Middle East.
These displacements take place after recent air attacks on the Western Front against targets in Syria.
“Project LST Orsk 148” is the name of the Russian ship that was seen on Sunday with military equipment on board as it was passing through the Bosphorus to the Russian naval base of Tartous on the north coast from Syria.
Under the pretext of an alleged use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government, the Western forces struck, on the night of Friday 13 to Saturday 14 April, targets on Syrian territory.
Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that the continuation of Western military operations would bring heavy military consequences.
