US, WASHINGTON (NEWS OBSERVATORY) — North Korea launches three missiles towards the Sea of Japan.
North Korea launched three unidentified shells in the direction of the Sea of Japan, the Yonhap news agency reported with reference to the military of South Korea.
Earlier, the agency, citing the South Korean military, informed about the launch of “at least one unidentified shell.”
“Today North Korea launched three unidentified shells in the direction of the Sea of Japan from the district of Sondok in Hamgyong Namdo province. Our military is prepared for subsequent launches and is watching the region,” the Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea said.
