UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — Pyongyang is ready to resume talks with the United States in late September after stalling since a failed summit between its leaders in February, a senior North Korean diplomat said on Monday.
The meeting could take place at a time and place agreed by the two sides, North Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Choi Sun-hui said in a statement broadcast by the Korean Central News Agency.
