US, WASHINGTON (NEWS OBSERVATORY) — The Egyptian Ministry of Health reported on Saturday night an increase in recorded cases of coronavirus infection to 93.
Ministry of Health spokesman Khaled Megahed reported 13 new cases of COVID-19 infection, of which eight were foreigners.
“The total number of recorded cases of coronavirus infection reached 93, 21 people were completely cured. Two people died,” Mugahed said in a press release.
A sixty-year-old tourist from Germany died in Hurghada on March 8, an Egyptian citizen died of the virus on Thursday.
Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbull on Monday ordered the suspension of all public events in the country to counter the spread of coronavirus.
