Pele denied rumors of his depression

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Football king Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pele, has denied reports of his depression. On the eve of the son of three-time world champion Edinho said that his father was discouraged.

The 79-year-old Brazilian said that “he’s not going to leave the game. Of course, there are good and bad days. But I don’t get discouraged and do not lead a reclusive lifestyle. Moreover, I held two photo shoots, and in the near future I have other events planned,” said Pele.

The son of the great football player Edson Cholbi Nascimento or Edinho also disavowed his words, saying that he was misunderstood. Edinho said earlier that Pele was depressed after an unsuccessful hip joint operation because he couldn’t move on his own.
