Pentagon was assured of the absence of plans for additional attacks on Syria

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY) – At the moment, the US no longer plans additional attacks on Syria, said the head of the Pentagon, James Mattis.

“At the moment we have not planned any additional attacks,” he told reporters.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States Joseph Dunford, that “at the moment the bombardment (Syria) is completed.”

“(Shelling – IF) will lead to a long-term reduction of Syria’s potential for research, development and use of chemical and biological weapons,” he told reporters.

According to him, the Syrian authorities “will lose data on analysis and development, accumulated over the years, special equipment and expensive precursors of chemical weapons.”
