Protest against attacks on Syria in Turkey and Iraq

TURKEY / IRAQ (OBSERVATORY) – On the streets of Istanbul and Baghdad protested against the attacks of the United States, Britain and France on the territory of Syria, media reported on Sunday.

So, in Turkey, the demonstrators gathered near the French consulate in Istanbul. They hold banners, the inscriptions on which read: “There is no imperialist aggression in Syria.”

Also, protesters gathered in the streets of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, they brought flags of Syria with them.

On the night of April 14, the United States, Britain and France struck a number of targets in Syria. More than 100 missiles were fired over Syria. According to the leadership of the countries, a blow was struck at facilities related to the production of chemical weapons.

The United States and its allies regard the strikes against Syria as a proportional response to the chemical attack in the Syrian Duma, in which they accuse Damascus. Damascus charges dismissed.
