Putin spoke about the weapons of the future

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Russian leader Vladimir Putin promised to equip the army and navy with the latest weapons, including laser and hypersonic systems.

He announced his intention to further strengthen the potential of strategic forces at a speech at the State Kremlin Palace on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day.

Putin noted that many types of domestic weapons have no analogues in the world, while in Russia there has already been a transition to its placement on combat duty, reports TASS .

The president also spoke about the Great Patriotic War and that Russia would stop any attempts to distort its history.

May 9 will be celebrations on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Victory.

On this holy holiday, the country will honor the heroes who expelled the enemy from their land and liberated many peoples from the invaders. And the duty of the living is to always remember at what price the victory went.

Putin also thanked all the participants in the hostilities in Syria for their service. Russian troops destroyed well-equipped terrorist groups and averted major threats to Russia at long distances.
