Red Cross: the war in Yemen led to three million refugees

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — The International Red Cross Office (ICRC) in Yemen reports 3 million refugees due to the ongoing war in the country.

“The war in Yemen has led to the emergence of more than 3 million refugees, homeless …, 83% of the refugees are women and children,” the mission said on Twitter.

Earlier, the ICRC office in Yemen informed that eight out of 10 Yemeni citizens needed help to meet their minimum living requirements.

Seven out of 10 citizens are not able to get medical care. At the same time, 17.8 million Yemenis do not have access to clean water.
