Rockets landed near base hosting US forces (Iraqi Army)

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Seventeen rockets landed near a military base hosting US forces in the north of the country on Friday, but there were no serious casualties or damage, the Iraqi army said in a statement.

A security source said the rockets landed near the Qayyarah military base.

The statement or the source did not say who was believed to have carried out the attack. No one has claimed responsibility.
