Rouhani: Iran will continue to reduce its obligations under the nuclear deal

IRAN (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Monday Tehran would continue to reduce its obligations under the 2015 nuclear deal until the European Union fulfills its obligations under the deal.

Iran has gradually scaled back its obligations in the deal since May after the United States withdrew from it. Tehran called on the European powers signatories to work to save it by protecting Iran’s economy from US sanctions.

Speaking on state television, Rowhani said Iran would soon start work on more sophisticated centrifuges.
