Russia called paranoid US intelligence statements

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — The CIA’s statement that Russia is attempting to intervene in the 2020 presidential election to re-elect President Donald Trump has nothing to do with reality. This was stated by spokesman for the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov on Friday.

“The next paranoid messages, which, unfortunately, will be more and more as we approach the elections. Of course, they have nothing to do with the truth,” Peskov said.

An article earlier appeared in The New York Times that U.S. intelligence warned US lawmakers that Russia would interfere in the 2020 presidential election to re-elect the current president.

According to the first deputy head of the international committee of the Federation Council, Vladimir Dzhabarov, the news about the alleged assistance to Russia in the re-election of Donald Trump is connected only with the start of the election race in the United States.
