Russia: Daesh attack neutralized by FSB

RUSSIA (OBSERVATORY) – A bombing of Daesh was foiled in Russia by the FSB, Russian special services.

Russian special services on Tuesday (April 17th) neutralized a Daesh cell whose members were planning attacks in the region of Rostov (central Russia) under the leadership of envoys present in Syria, says Sputnik’s FSB press service.

The Federal Security Service (FSB) neutralized a cell belonging to the terrorist group Daesh, which was planning terrorist acts in the Russian region of Rostov with the use of weapons and improvised explosive devices.

Three members of the cell were arrested during the operation, one of whom blew himself up by setting off an improvised explosive device.
