Russia develops new techniques to stimulate the brain

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY) –┬áScientists from Russia’s Far East University have developed a new device that helps stimulate brain cells.

“The main thing that distinguishes its new device from its analogues is that it is completely safe, thanks to the controlled electromagnetic frequencies it sends that affect the targeted cells in the brain cortex alone, and helps restore some of the functions,” said Boris Yunga, lost in the wake of shocks or certain diseases, and contribute to the improvement of memory and some mental abilities.

The scientist pointed out that his team and the university have obtained patents for the development of this technology, and made it in the form of a brain-stimulating helmet, which is cheaper than its current foreign counterparts about 9 times.

Once the final tests are completed, they are supposed to be launched in the market for use in many medical centers.
