Russia hands Turkey a second battery from the system S-400

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — Russia handed Turkey a second battery of the S-400 missile defense system on Tuesday, Interfax news agency quoted Russian President Vladimir Putin as saying.

“By the way, another handover took place this morning,” Putin told his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is visiting Russia.

The Turkish Defense Ministry said the second S-400 battery delivery began on Tuesday and would take about a month.
