RUSSIA (OBSERVATORY) – Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Paris’s silence on alleged chemical weapons in Syria was inexplicable.
According to Maria Zakharova in an interview with Channel “Russia -1” television, she had seen French secret report , which stated, “that Damascus was developing since 2013 secret programs for the production of chemical weapons.”
“It is not clear where were the official representatives of the French Foreign and Defense Ministries and the representative of the French president?” Zakharova added.
The French Foreign and Defense Ministries recently published a classified “intelligence” report stating that it was “likely that stifling substances, organic phosphorous compounds or hydrogen cyanide acid were used during the chemical attack” allegedly in Douma in the eastern Ghouta.
