RUSSIA (OBSERVATORY) – Several members of the Russian Parliament drafted a law to suspend the export of some products, not least, to the United States.
In response to the new round of US sanctions against Russia announced last week, Duma members impose a wide range of restrictions on US business practices in Russia by also providing for a ban or restriction on the export of Russian titanium to Russia. the United States, this product being of primary necessity for the Boeing aircraft manufacturer.
Russian State Duma leader Vyacheslav Volodin told Russian news agencies that the bill in question could be put to the vote next week.
Dmitry Peskov said today, Friday, 13 April, that the Kremlin has not yet considered the bill and will only speak to it once it has been read to Duma deputies.
