Sands commented on Britain’s refusal to strike Syria

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY) – A spokesman for Russian President Dmitry Peskov commented on Britain’s refusal to strike Syria, voiced earlier by Prime Minister Teresa May.

According to him, the Kremlin hopes for an objective and comprehensive investigation of the situation with reports on the Khimatak in the Syrian city of the Duma and on the emergence of credible facts.

Earlier, British Prime Minister Teresa May, in a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump, said that London needed to obtain evidence of an alleged chemical attack in Syria before joining a military strike.
