UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY) – Scientists from the Johns Hopkins University conducted research in the field of fish oil and its effects on the human body. They found out that this supplement can have a very positive effect on the human brain.
So, according to them, fish oil prevents the development of post-traumatic stress disorder. This was proved by the example of rescuers who participated in the elimination of the consequences of the earthquake in Japan in 2011.
According to the results, omega-3 will help restore brain damage that was caused by traumatic events.
Fish oil is also able to protect the brain from the negative effects of constant stress.
