Second person died in India from coronavirus

US, WASHINGTON (NEWS OBSERVATORY) — The second person died in India from a coronavirus, a 69-year-old woman in Delhi fell victim to the disease, India Today reports citing authorities in the Indian capital.

A woman whose COVID-19 was found on Thursday died at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi, officials from the Delhi Ministry of Health and Government said.

This is the second case of coronavirus death in India. On Thursday, the Karnataka state government said a 76-year-old man died from coronavirus.

The deceased woman was infected by her 46-year-old son, who recently visited Japan, Geneva and Italy. He is also undergoing treatment for COVID-19.
