South Korea announces level up warning of new coronavirus

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — South Korean President Moon Jae-in announced on Sunday that his country will raise the alert level due to the new Corona virus to a “higher degree”, after a sudden rise in the number of infections.

Moon confirmed after a government meeting in this regard that the Covid-19 epidemic is a “turning point”.

The President explained that he followed the recommendations of the experts, while there were four deaths and 556 injuries recorded in the country.

The number of casualties has increased dramatically in recent days, especially in the southeastern city of Daegu, where hundreds of Christian faithful who had prayed for the dead three weeks ago were injured in a hospital.

North Korea has the second largest number of casualties on its soil after China, the source of the epidemic, if the Diamond Princess ship is excluded in Japan.
