SYRIA (OBSERVATORY) – Syrian Air-defences have reportedly shot down unidentified objects on early Twesday in the Southern Damascus countryside.
Unknown warplanes entered Syrian airspace from Lebanon, raising the Syrian Air Defense’s alert levels, a military source told Al-Masdar News.
According to Al-Masdar, the Syrian Air Defense fired several missiles at these suspected warplanes in the eastern part of Damascus.
The official Syrian news agency reported Tuesday that the air defenses responded to missiles that broke through the atmosphere of the city of Homs.
Syrian television said the air force’s defenses had intercepted and fired missiles at Al-Shayrat airport in the countryside of Homs.
