Syrian army enters Manbij city of Aleppo northern countryside

SYRIA (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — “Syrian Arab Army units enter the city of Manbij in the northern countryside of Aleppo,” state television and the official Syrian news agency reported.

Russian-backed Syrian forces took no time to seize the opportunity of a swift US withdrawal from Syria, spreading deep into Kurdish-controlled territory south of the Turkish border on Monday, less than 24 hours after Washington announced its withdrawal from the region.
