Syrian army took a position on the strategic route

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Units of the Syrian government’s army took positions along the Hasek and Aleppo highways in northern Syria, SANA reported.

The troops are deployed 60 km along the highway. Positions are occupied to the administrative borders of the province of Raqqa.

Recall, October 9, Ankara announced the start of a military operation against the Kurds in Syria. Syrian forces intervened in the conflict and began to occupy cities in the north of the republic.

Ankara in response threatened war with Damascus.
