Syrian official denied the reports of Israeli raids in Aleppo

SYRIA (OBSERVATORY) – The Syrian Military Information Service denied the reports of Israeli raids in the southern suburbs of Aleppo that affected sites belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah.

The Central Military Information Service of Hezbollah said that there is no truth to what is being circulated through social media sites about an Israeli raid on the southern countryside of Aleppo.

Some media reported that the explosions in Jabal Ezzan in southern Aleppo were the result of electric contact.

Activists spoke of huge explosions Saturday night in the “mountain of Azzan,” a site of the Syrian army in the southern countryside of Aleppo.

Some activists have suggested that the huge explosions originated from an “unknown flight” heard in the area immediately after the explosions, and some went on to say that the explosions were caused by Israeli raids.

Some media outlets also speculated that the sounds were caused by the explosion of ammunition at the site.
