The human cost of Turkey’s military action in Syria

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — Turkey has intensified its offensive against Kurdish fighters in northeast Syria.

So far at least 15 civilians have been killed on both sides of the border.

The Turkish defence ministry says its forces have killed more than 200 YPG fighters since the operation began.
