The pink sea devil surprised scientists

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — The amazing creation – the pink sea devil – was filmed by scientists. Zoologists cannot understand why it is pink.

The pink sea devil was given the nickname “Inspector Clouseau” in honor of the police inspector from a series of comedy movies about the Pink Panther. This creature with a length of 3.3 meters surprises scientists, because it is so one of a kind.

Probably, in the sea devil, erythrism is a disease in which pigmentation is disturbed. Sometimes the cause of color changes is nutrition. But the exact cause of the pink color of “Inspector Clouseau” is unknown.
