Trump calls FBI spying on his headquarters an attempted coup

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — US President Donald Trump called the FBI ‘s surveillance of his headquarters an attempted coup.

“It was the overthrow of the government, an attempt to overthrow, and a lot of people took part in it. They were caught and caught red-handed,” Trump told reporters.

He stated that he was awaiting the results of an investigation on the same topic from Special Prosecutor John Durham.

Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz in a report released on Monday found no political bias in the way the FBI investigated the members of the Trump headquarters, although he found “serious errors” in the actions of the FBI.
