Trump chided the Fed for mental weakness

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — Trump reproached the Fed for stupidity, setting an example of low interest rates in G7 countries.

“Our Fed” mentally “can not compete with other countries. On the G7 in France, all other leaders experienced euphoria from how much their interest expenses fell,” Trump wrote on Twitter.

“Germany” is paid “for what it takes on loans – zero rate and higher! Having no idea the Fed!” – writes Trump.

Trump regularly criticizes Federal Reserve Service head Jerome Powell for refusing the Fed to cut its key interest rate. Last week, the president wondered who the biggest enemy for the US economy is China’s leader Xi Jinping or Powell.
